Why can we not be sober –

I just want to start things over

I want what I want
I want what I want

Easter is the cruelest month

How April came to hold such a commemoration of man’s inhumanity to man may be part of some grand plan but the thought occurs to me they wanted it this way, or so they say…

This being human is a guest house. Every morning a new arrival… Be grateful for whatever comes. Because each has been sent
 as a guide from beyond.

Easy for you to say, whirling dervish sufi. But here, we’ve got real problems like true meaningless…

Vapid and fallow

Left to hurl itself hoarse

Fighting the good fight

Well, what is so good

about it, now,

Brother Abrams

Sister Sarafina

what good has ever come

of fighting?

Who did this to us? we cry every 19-33 years, after the rape & pillage sinks in.

God, we’re resilient.

Problem is, it’s in response more to our own kind eyeing our demise circling like a tiger

in vegas

in the 90s
Looming

Because looking down, reveals the point

where a sword can kill you

whereas looking up, it’s only bombs

He asked but one thing, was stabbed by a spear, and converted the warrior

to happenstance

No foresaking necessary

WE don’t know

Actually

It never escapes my mind

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation;

As the batteries dead bleep chirps and the trucks whir by on main street never ending

Nerve pain today

Some sort of brutal anniversary

Random assault

hate crimes

never solved

Words never cease

to be meaningless

It all begins somewhere

and leads to something else

A lack of intuition

A sixth sense that only leads to harm

Abandonment issues carried like scars

yet never ones that people admire

For bravery or survival skills

and yet…

DTD

The traumatic stress field has adopted the term “Complex Trauma” to describe the experience of multiple and/or chronic and prolonged, developmentally adverse traumatic events, most often of an interpersonal nature (e.g., sexual or physical abuse, war, community violence) and early-life onset.

To a reversal of remorse

Apr 3, 2017

Viewed from disorder and hypervigilant attempts to prevent

the exact harm that happens to you

Oh how to know the haphazard bliss

Turned

into absent memory

a piece missing

your damaged showing

I reacted by dissociating and isolating myself. I also developed obsessive behavior regarding my health and biology.
